The Center for Global Interdisciplinary Courses (GIC?Center) was established in November 2014 with the principle objective of developing interdisciplinary and international human resources. Courses offered by the?GIC?Center and individual faculties (the?GIC?course series) are offered across four campuses to all undergraduate students.
Lectures are taught collaboratively by faculty from different disciplines, and as a general rule, Q&A sessions, discussions, assignments, and examinations are conducted in a foreign language.
The Professional Career Program (PCP) offers an opportunity for third- and fourth-year students, principally in the Faculty of Economics, to receive a practical economics education in English. It offers small-group classes with an emphasis on practical, career-oriented education as well as specialist courses offered in law, economics, finance, public policy, international economics, and environmental economics.
