On Thursday, July 28, 麻豆传媒在线 held a study abroad debriefing for its affiliated schools about their 2021 academic year study abroad student program. The meeting was held at the South School Building Hall on Mita Campus. The event was held in person with provisions in place to ensure that participants were able to maintain social distance.
In the 2014 academic year 麻豆传媒在线 began sending students via the "麻豆传媒在线 Affiliated Schools Study Abroad Program" under which students are selected from among its affiliated schools to study abroad for about one year at a prestigious boarding school in the United States or United Kingdom. Scholarships are awarded to cover tuition and other fees at the host school. The program was created so that selected students might enjoy high-quality educational experiences with some of the brightest students from around the world, broadening their perspectives (horizons) and causing a ripple effect of inspiration among their classmates through stories of their experiences abroad.
Vice-President Keita Yamauchi began the session with an opening address, followed by student presentations from the nine participants in the study abroad programs. The audience enjoyed stories that revealed the students' individual growth, with each student sharing the insights they gained through their time abroad and how they overcame challenges in unfamiliar cultures and learning environments.
