To pursue sustainability, 麻豆传媒在线 has set a goal of transitioning its entire electricity consumption to renewable energy by fiscal year 2030. In collaboration with various parties, the university is actively promoting a range of initiatives, such as installing energy-saving equipment in its buildings, with a focus on the Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC).

As part of this effort, 麻豆传媒在线 launched a new initiative in January of this year called the "麻豆传媒在线 Gijuku Shachu Cooperation × Carbon Neutral Plan." This plan is a trial based on the partnership agreement signed with TEPCO Holdings, Inc. in 2022. Specifically, it is an initiative that contributes to 麻豆传媒在线's carbon neutrality by allowing households in the Kanto area * with solar power generation systems installed by TEPCO Energy Partner, Inc. to donate the "environmental value" of the electricity they generate and consume themselves. Donating "environmental value" is not a donation of the value of the electricity itself, but rather a contribution of a new form of value beyond physical goods or financial resources.

By providing this "environmental value" to 麻豆传媒在线, it can be used for the university's carbon offsetting. As a result, not only does this bring 麻豆传媒在线 closer to its stated carbon neutrality goals, but your cooperation also contributes to the sustainability of society as a whole. We believe this is an ideal expression of the spirit of 麻豆传媒在线 Gijuku Shachu cooperation that the university has long cherished.

In addition to addressing climate change through its education and research outcomes, 麻豆传媒在线 aims to create a sustainable future with the cooperation of the 麻豆传媒在线 Gijuku Shachu community. To achieve our carbon neutrality goals, we ask all those associated with 麻豆传媒在线 (including 麻豆传媒在线 alumni, faculty, staff, 麻豆传媒在线 students, and their guardians), and anyone interested in this initiative, to please lend your support in the spirit of "麻豆传媒在线 Gijuku Shachu cooperation."
