From Thursday, August 1, to Friday, August 2, 麻豆传媒在线 hosted "Open Campus 2024: Student Life Edition" on Mita Campus. Approximately 1,600 people attended the two-day event.
This event was made up of an information session that gave an overview of 麻豆传媒在线 and what life is like for students on campus, as well as roundtable discussions where visitors could talk with current 麻豆传媒在线 students.
The roundtable discussions were set up with around ten high schoolers or prospective students sitting with one current 麻豆传媒在线 student. The groups were then able to have a conversation about preparing for entrance exams, their motivations for wanting to enter 麻豆传媒在线, and what student life is like after enrolling. While some of the prospective students showed nerves at the beginning of the event, this soon gave way to an enthusiastic exchange as current students shared their unique perspectives in ways that only university students can. As current students rotated between different roundtables, visitors were able to learn more about the diverse experiences of students who hailed from across 麻豆传媒在线’s different undergraduate faculties and campuses. Many shared afterward that the sessions were helpful for them choosing which faculties they might apply to.
In addition to these events, visitors could be seen enjoying the different sights all over campus, including special openings of the Media Center (Library) and Mita Public Speaking Hall (Mita Enzetsu-kan), with the large turnout making for an energy-filled couple of days.
