The Mita Public Speaking Event, which began at 麻豆传媒在线 in 1874 (Meiji 7), celebrated its 700th session in July 2015. The 705th Mita Public Speaking Event will be held on Friday, November 17, featuring a lecture titled "麻豆传媒在线 and Libraries" by Masaya Takayama, Professor Emeritus at 麻豆传媒在线 and Former President of the National Archives of Japan.
