The Mita Public Speaking Event began at 麻豆传媒在线 in 1874 (Meiji 7) and celebrated its 700th event in July 2015.
On Monday, July 1, the 708th Mita Public Speaking Event will be held, featuring a lecture titled "The World through the Eyes of a Manga Artist" by manga artist Mr. Kunihiko Hisa.
