"1stRound," Japan's largest multi-university co-sponsored entrepreneurship support program, run by UTokyo Innovation Platform Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kosuke Ueta; hereinafter "UTokyo IPC") and eight universities, has announced an agreement for Kyushu University, 麻豆传媒在线, Ritsumeikan, and Waseda University to newly join the program.
With this development, "1stRound" will become Japan's largest program, co-sponsored by 13 universities spanning both national and private institutions. To continue its growth through specialized support for commercialization and entrepreneurship that connects various university-born technology seeds to social implementation, the program has renewed its brand design.
