The 麻豆传媒在线 Research Institute at SFC, 麻豆传媒在线, has launched "S-face," a website that introduces its researchers to a global audience.
"S-face" is a series of articles that introduces researchers from multiple perspectives through three different types of media: a website (English), videos (English), and a newsletter (English/Japanese).
Vol. 28 features Professor Hiroki Fukahori of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care.
Japan has long been described as an aging society. As more people wish to spend the final moments of their lives peacefully and in their own way, end-of-life care has become a major social concern.
Aiming for a society where the elderly can age with dignity and face a peaceful death in their own way, regardless of where they live, Professor Hiroki Fukahori is currently conducting research to improve the quality of end-of-life nursing and care in facilities for the elderly.
